Save dynmkND!
Save music curation on Youtube!

Summary

Youtube ejected dynmkND from their partner program which means the uploads on the channel cannot be monetized anymore. I however rely on that income to run dynmk and dynmkND.
I now need your help to convince Youtube that dynmkND should stay in the program and alive on the platform. My conversations with Youtube have unfortunately not made a difference. Therefore I ask for your support by tweeting to @TeamYoutube about how much the dynmk channels mean to you and to ask them to reinstate monetization for dynmkND and to re-evaluate the new content guidelines.
Please share about this issue on social media as much as possible.

Thank you for listening for all these years as without you the dynmk channels would not be where they are today. Please support now to ensure there are many more years to come.

Long read

Hi,
First of all, thank you so much for taking the time to read this.
Youtube recently introduced new content guidelines for their partner program. You can only monetize your uploads if you get accepted to the partner program. These new guidelines include a new concept of so-called "Reused Content". (Details: https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/1311392#cqg )
These guidelines are mainly targeted at channels that take existing videos (most of the time without permission) and re-upload without creating any value to the viewer but only to make money.
So these are well intended guidelines as in such cases they keep somebody from earning money through illegal activity.
Unfortunately, what these guidelines do not take into account are the consequences for music curator channels like dynmk, dynmkND and the many more that have been uploading on the platform for years now.

Channels that thanks to you, the listener have built communities of thousands, hundreds of thousands and even millions of subscribers through their selection of music. The curation of music through which they create value for you, the subscribers and Youtube as a platform.

Channels that work closely together with artists and labels to upload with their permission so that their music can be heard.

With dynmk I have been doing this for over 6 years now, dynmkND I started almost 2 years ago.

Now I ask you to help me ensure that I can continue my work of introducing you to new artists, supporting up and coming artists and to show Youtube that under these content guidelines curator channels have no chance to survive.

Thank you for your support.
